I’m hoping to write and blog more this year. No promises though.

This post is all about my new son, Bear! Sheila had our son on November 24, 2012. He was 10 lbs and 21 inches! A really big boy…and he was a week and a half early. Needless to say, my wife is amazing. He’s full name is Joshua Bear Baldwin, but we just call him Bear. We actually decided to name him Bear long before we knew how big he was gonna be.

He’s a great baby. He’s very calm and peaceful. While we prayed for him in the womb, we always felt like he was going to be a calm yet strong young man. I think that’s where we got his name. I felt like he would have this strong, powerful peace about him. Kinda like a bear. (if that makes sense) He’s a nice compliment to his sister, Ellie. She is a fiery, independent little girl. They will hopefully be the best of friends…especially since they’re only 14 months apart!
